1 - Dum and Tak 
In lesson 1 of the Darbuka lessons you will first meet your instructor Mr. Nasser Salameh and then you will learn how to produce the main two sounds on the Darbuka (or Arabic Tabla): Dum which is the low frequency or bass sound using the palm of the right hand and the Tak which is the high frequency sound using the ring finger of the left hand.
